The happy couple!
I was a senior in high school when they got married. To be honest, I wasn't all that thrilled at first. I was still pulling for Mary Beth's high school and college sweetheart and wasn't so sure about this new guy. It didn't take long for Ed to win me over. As it turns out it's just impossible not to love Ed! Ed is kind and generous and has done so many thoughtful things for all of us over the years. He might want to deny it sometimes but Ed is truly a member of our family...there is no "in-law" about it!
Mary Beth and Ed are a great couple and they have created such a beautiful family. During their marriage they have always put their family first...and it shows. Together they have raised 3 happy, funny, confident, and wonderful kids. Ryan, Jamie, and Katie are a joy to be around...and I'm not just saying that because I'm their aunt! It's the absolute truth.

I hope today is as special for them as they are to us. Happy Anniversary Mary Beth and Ed. We love you!!Today also would have been my parent's 48th Wedding Anniversary. Saying, "Happy Anniversary Dad" somehow doesn't feel quite right...but, I just want him to know we remember. Wish Mom were here to celebrate it with you!
