I vividly remember seeing Sadie's beautiful, round, 'Gerber Baby' face for the first time. It seems like only yesterday that I saw the sweet face of my first niece. Can it really be 16 years ago?
I can remember Sadie walking up to me in her winter coat and asking me to "bisser" her up. I can remember the two of us playing beauty parlor. I can remember her doing a cheer when Tony and I got engaged. I can remember Sadie crying at Tony and my wedding because I was crying. I have countless happy memories that include Sadie. I could go on listing them for hours. What I can't do is tell you where the time went. How can that sweet little Gerber Baby be turning 16? I don't know how...but...she is!
