A Tie Dye Father's Day

Since we would be spending a good portion of Father's Day driving to the Outer Banks we decided to celebrate Father's Day a little early.

For Father's Day we gave Tony a tie...a tie dye night that is.

We spent a fun evening making tie dyed shirts. To be honest, when we first started I think Tony was less than enthused with the little craft project Lily and I had come up with. But once he got started....Watch Out! In the end Tony made more tie dyed shirts than Lily...and that's saying something!!

After we finished getting dye everywhere we gave Tony his Father's Day presents.

When I asked Lily what she wanted to give Tony for Father's Day she said, "books and a sand castle kit for vacation." How cute is that??? So, we picked out a few books for Daddy to read to Lily and put together a "sand castle kit."

Lily also decorated a picture frame for Tony and then she helped me pick out pictures of herself and Tony for a separate collage frame. Below are the sweet pictures that Lily chose.

Lily loved trying to make her Daddy feel special...and I think her Daddy enjoyed it too.
