A Day Of Beauty

For my 40th birthday my sister, Patti, gave me a gift certificate for "A Day Of Beauty" at The Spa at Turf Valley. Why she would have given me this gift 10 years before my actual 40th birthday is anyone's guess...but beggars can't be choosy! So today (17 months after my actual 40th birthday) Patti, Mary Beth, and I headed to the spa for some serious pampering!

We had an incredible time! We had massages, facials, and a nutritious lunch. We left the spa feeling (and looking) 10 years younger! Now, please don't tell the Chefs at the spa that served us that yummy heart healthy lunch (that came on a plate about the size of a quarter) that we went out afterwards for some nachos and a glass of wine!

I can't begin to tell you how much fun we had today. It was so nice to spend time together just the three of us. We talked and laughed so hard we had tears streaming down our faces on more than one occasion!

The most beautiful part about our "Day of Beauty" had nothing to do with facials and massages...it was all about spending quality time with my sisters!
