Up, Up, And Away
On Thursday Lily and I went to the Preakness Celebration Balloon Festival. The weather was kind of iffy, so we pretty much had the entire festival to ourselves!
We took a tethered hot air balloon ride and played inside a hot air balloon that was lying on its side.
Who knew something so full of "hot air" could be so much fun?!?!

OOo, Lian has wanted to go up in a hot air balloon! I never knew there was a balloon celebration with Preakness! Glad you had fun.
Eileen - that's what happens when you're a stay-at-home mom that doesn't like to actually stay at home...you've gotta get creative!
Christine - the balloon festival is held at Turf Valley for a few days before the Preakness. They actually launch the balloons the morning of the Preakness.
