Today was Lily's second day at preschool and I'm thrilled to report she had another great day!
As class was wrapping up the teacher had all the kids and parents sing and dance to the Hokey Pokey. Poor Lily was quite confused. You see, I sing to Lily A LOT. Many of the songs I sing have made up lyrics set to familiar tunes. Case in point...one of our favorites...the Soaky Pokey. Here's how our version goes:

Apparently, I'm not the only one in the family that is a closet songwriter. Today as I was putting away laundry in our bedroom I could hear Lily singing in her room. Here's what I heard:
