The view from our house this morning! Hello! We are in Boothbay Harbor, Maine and the weather, scenery, and house are absolutely beautiful!!

We are here with Tony's Mom (Suzy), Sister (Sheila), Aunt (Mary), and longtime family friend (Peggy). Surrounded by all this estrogen Tony has no choice but to get in touch with his feminine side!
Lily was a champ during the 2 day drive up here....much less fussy then her dear old Mom! Actually, the drive was really very pretty...it's just that I hate to be in the car for any amount of time. It gets me a little stir crazy!
Yesterday, we went to a botanical garden that had a great children's garden. Lily loved all the interactive gardens and I think she would still be there if we hadn't of dragged her out! Here are a few pictures from Lily's secret garden.
Today, we went and walked around the actual harbor area. It is a quaint little town with lots of neat shops and restaurants.
In the next several days we are planning to go whale watching, and to Winter Harbor to visit the area where Tony grew up.
The weather is gorgeous...85 degrees. The locals are complaining about the unseasonably warm temps but it feels great to us. Sorry to all you folks back home that are suffering through the heat wave!! The next few days it is headed back to the 70's during the day and 50's at night. Yum!

Okay, I'm just saying - bring my neice back and soon! Hope you are having a great vacation. Bean finished up 3rd grade today and is really looking forward to some Lily and Bean days....
Sounds like you are having a terrific time. Bundle up when you go on your whale watch. The weather may be nice, but once you are on the water....Brrrrrrr.
Tell Tony to have a lobster for me.
