Am I really related to all these people? Yesterday was my Dad's annual family picnic. We had beautiful weather and a wonderful day!
I would lie if I told you how long this annual picnic has been going on. All I know is it has been happening as long as I've been alive...so, at least 25 years ;-).
Last year at the family picnic Lily wasn't walking, yet. This year she was running around like crazy and having a blast on the playground, in the baby pool, and playing with all her extended family!
All this playing is making me thristy!
When I see all of us together I can't help but think about my grandmother and all of her sisters. I know they are so happy that this tradition has continued. I can just picture them all sitting together up in heaven drinking a beer and marvelling at how big their families have grown!
I bet Dad Dad is thinking about Granny, too!
