We lost power over night on the night of the 26th...then when I tried to turn on our computer on the 27th it wouldn't come up. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. No blinking lights. No sound. No nothing! Yikes!
We have the computer connected to a surge protector but apparently something happened. The monitor, printer, speakers, etc. all appear to be fine but the CPU...not so much. We are hopeful it is simply the power supply that went up since when we push the on/off button nothing happens. Since I have so many pictures saved on the computer (and no backups...bad me) I am praying that the hard drive is fine. We have ordered the part we think we need and it should be in in a few days. Please keep your fingers crossed.
Silly me kind of forgot that I could use the laptop and was really sad that I wasn't going to be able to do my Christmas post until the part came in for our desktop computer! Luckily Tony is smarter than I am!!
