When we were visiting Suzy, Tony's mom, over Labor Day weekend she gave Lily a cute little pink t-shirt that has "Daddy's Little Girl" printed on the front of it. This morning Tony let me sleep in a bit and he got Lily dressed for the day. Boy, did she look cute!
There is just something about seeing Tony and Lily together that brings me an indescribable sense of happiness. I know some people will want to kill me if I write another mushy post about my husband so all I will say is that Tony is a really wonderful Daddy and I am a very lucky lady!

Small piece of advice learned the hard way - those plastic slides (like the one Lily is on in your picture) become static electricity factories when the weather turns colder and your little one may suffer an unpleasant little shock at the end of her ride. My granddaughter went through a period of refusing to use the slides because of this. We began calling these little shocks a 'zap' and talked about all the things that hurt much more than a little old 'zap' - like shots, boo boos, falls, etc. Eventually, Cassidy summoned the courage to use the plastic slides again but she still reports every 'zap' she gets from them. So, new mom and new dad, should Lily suddenly object to the slide it might be because she's having a bit of a shocking experience!

LOVE the look of joy at the end of the slide!
