3 weeks have now passed since we received Lily's referral! Time is moving so quickly! I would love to tell you that the bathroom is finished and Lily's nursery is in tip-top shape....but my mother taught me not to lie.
Instead, I'll share some really exciting news....Travel Approvals (TAs) are on the way! I can't believe it. I'm so thrilled!! Some of the larger agencies (not ours) have reported that they will have TAs early next week. Since our tiny agency normally receives information several days after the big guys I'm guessing we will have our TA at the end of next week or early the following week! Receiving TA allows our agency to then schedule our Consulate Appointment (CA) and finalize our travel plans. Oh my gosh....I'm forgetting to breathe again! This is really happening....soon we will finally be able to hold sweet Lily in our arms!
There is also confirmation that "The Stork" left China yesterday and is currently on US soil!! Yippe Yahoo! This means the rest of our friends with October 2005 Log In Dates (LID) will be receiving their referrals late this afternoon or early next week!! I just love referral time. I'm a lot calmer than I was with the last batch of referrals (naturally) but it is still so extremely exciting! I do realize that as long as China has an International Adoption Program there will always be families and children waiting to be joined together. I will just be so happy and relieved to see the rest of our October LID Group receive their referrals!
