What made this year's parade more special than any of the others is who was selected as the Honorary Grand Marshal...none other than my sweet Dad!!!
Every year all of my cousins from Dad's side of the family stand together to watch the parade, drink a few beers, and catch up with each other's lives.
This year a lot of my cousins from Mom's side of the family joined us, too! It was great to see everybody and it positively made Dad's day!!
It was a wonderful day from start to finish! The only thing that could have made it better is if Mom were there. She always loved Dad in a tux!

Best weather for the parade in 15 years - oh yeah. Mom was there alright! She made sure nothing ruined her man's big day!
