Pinky

When Katie was a little girl she earned the nickname, Pinky. Well, it's probably more accurate to say that her mother earned it for her. From the time Katie was born right up until she stopped allowing Mary Beth to dress her she was pretty much always dressed head to toe in pink. She always looked so sweet!

Today is Katie's 17th birthday. She may not wear pink quite as often as she once did, but she is every bit just as sweet!

Katie, I know this is going to sound strange...but remember it's Aunt T talking...umm...or should that be typing...anyway...I'm so glad Lily has you in her life. It means so much to me for Lily to be surrounded by such a strong, happy, beautiful, positive, and intelligent role model. Lily is absolutely crazy about you and so am I.



I loved the little girl you were.
I love the young woman you are.
And I can't wait to see the woman you become.
