*****Stop The Presses*****

This just in...Lily is crawling!!

Lily started yesterday with a few forward movements and then she'd plop down on her bottom to marvel at what she had done! Me, being the proud Mommy, called Tony at work immediately. I mean honestly, what's more important...a few clients or the fact that your daughter is crawling?!? Tony was quite impressed and Lily was more than willing to do a demonstration for her Daddy when he got home from work last night.

Well, this morning it was all systems go. Lily and I were playing in the basement when she spotted the phone I left on the floor across the room....and off she went! Lily didn't stop once...just beat a path to the telephone! And Daddy thinks Lily's not going to have a cell phone until she's 18! Yeah, right! I guess we better get seriously busy Lily-proofing our house!

Lily is getting 3 new teeth to go with the 5 she already has and is chewing and biting on everything....including me (OUCH!). Lily also is mimicking everything we say and do. She loves to wave hello and good-bye (with her little fingers facing her!). Lily also likes to make clucking noises with her tongue, smack her lips together, and do a little fake cough after someone coughs or sneezes. I think I better clean up my language! With all this copying I can only imagine what her first word might be!

Lily is absolutely amazing and keeps us laughing, smiling, busy, and tired....hence the infrequent posts!

I love this Zwieback Toast! Not only is it great for teething...it makes a wonderful facial mask...and hair product!

It's not the stroller that's so bad...it's the silly hats my Mom makes me wear!

If they're going to insist I take an oatmeal bath....I might as well enjoy it!

TJ,

That is GREAT! Lily is just blooming! Lily is just as cute as can be. Kate is not crawling yet but I see it coming soon. She has gotten close. Then, I really won't be able to get anything done.

After my month-old son did his Super Baby act, launching himself off the middle of the kitchen table and onto the floor, I became a believer in differential rates of development for infants. I recommend assuming your child can do far more than you think she can and preparing for her to do it. This can be applied throughout her childhood. Pray she is not a climber (I had one of those, too.) Good luck and God bless. Love,
Eileen

Just when I think you can't post cuter pictures of Lily, voila' there she is again cuter than the last time. Hope you and Tony are taking vitamins because this little girl is going to keep you moving. Enjoy.

Love, Mo
