A 4 Foot Addition

Yesterday we added a little something extra to our home. To be more precise...it's not exactly a 4 "foot" addition as the title of this post suggests...he's more like a 4 paw addition.

Hi Aunt Teresa,

Unfortunately, Biscuit is not a rescue :-(. A rescue was our first choice, but we were trying to work around Tony's allergies. Biscuit's a discounted "designer mutt". He's a Cavachon (part Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and part Bischon.)

Tony really suffers with allergies and this breed of dog doesn't seem to bother him at all. We know several people who have Cavachons and contacted the breeder they used.

Apparently, Biscuit's coloring and hair type are not "right" so we were able to get him for a discounted price with an agreement that the breeder would take the dog back if Tony had an adverse reaction.

Rox - Yup, you guessed it. Biscuit is from the Biscuit book series and was Lily's name choice. I wanted to name him Toby and Tony wanted to name him either Finn or Wexford (the county my Dad's father was born in Ireland). Lily vetoed our suggestions and wanted Biscuit. I think it fits!

This little mutt already has the 3 of us tied around his little paw!
