We have a TON of things planned over the next several weeks to celebrate the New Year. Between the parties, dinners, and parades it will be a hare raising good time.
Okay, okay, okay. I'll stop with the bunny humor.
Today, Lily and I spent the afternoon with friends making dozens and dozens of dumplings. I have no idea what the final count was...but we made several hundred dumplings at a minimum. Several woman were making dumplings and those babies were multiplying like rabbits. Oops. There I go again.
I don't want to say this too loud, but I'm actually getting pretty good at dumpling making. For the first time I noticed you really couldn't tell which dumplings I had made and which ones my friends had made. Silly thing to be proud of...I know...but it's all about life's little victories!
I didn't get any pictures of Lily making dumplings...my hands were coated with flour the entire time.
If I had taken pictures you really wouldn't have seen many of Lily actually making dumplings. Now, if you wanted to see pictures of Lily eating dumpling wrappers...by the dozen...that I could have shown you!
So, instead of pictures of the dumpling wrapper eating machine you'll have to settle for pictures of my little hippie pirate. I just love some of the outfits this child comes up with! This ensemble needs a bit more color don't you think??
