My New Cleaning Lady

This is HUGE people....we're talking seriously HUGE!!

Yesterday, Lily and I spent the afternoon playing in a neighbor's sandbox. When we came home I thought I had done a good job cleaning the majority of the sand off of Lily before we came in the house. The key word here would be...thought.

As it turned out there was quite a pile of sand left on the Living Room floor when Lily took off her shoes. I told Lily that I was going to go get the dustbuster to clean up the sand. To say Lily hates the dustbuster is an understatement. While we're at it let's go ahead and throw in the vacuum, blender, garbage disposal, and fire trucks for good measure! Our girl has a *serious* aversion to loud noises. We're talking she hates, detests, loathes, despises, okay...you get the idea any and all loud noises!

Well, you could have knocked me over with one of those grains of sand I was trying to vacuum up when Lily asked if she could use the "dustbuffer". This from the girl who normally runs into the other room with both of her hands covering her ears! Not only did she use the "dustbuffer" to help clean up the sand...she "dustbuffered" for 30 straight minutes!

This might not seem like big news to most of you, but trust me I think it's HUGE!

Hi TJ. I've been surfing your blog and it is so sweet that Lilly will know that she was, and always will be, loved. It's so awesome to see the pictures of Lily and you and Tony. All the waiting and anguish behind you. You guys make a great family and I'm happy for you. Love ya.
